Senate Moves Medicaid Rebasing Bill (S.6914, Rivera)

Earlier today, the Senate Health Committee voted unanimously (15-0) to move S.6914 (Rivera)/A.5905-A (Woerner) out of the Committee. This bill would rebase the current Medicaid rate beginning January 1, 2025 and at least every five years thereafter. The bill also creates a technical assistance workgroup for consultation with the Department that consists of external experts with professional experience in nursing home rate setting.
