NYS Governor Updates

January 9, 2024 was a busy day for Governor Hochul!

In the morning, she announced Medicaid 1115 Waiver Amendment to Enhance New York’s Health Care System. This is a $7.5 billion dollar waiver that will invest nearly $6 billon dollars if Federal Funding into New York State’s healthcare system over the next three years. The goal is to improve health equity, address health disparities, deliver critical support to address health-related social needs, support safety net for hospitals, and address workforce shortages.
